EN 136:1998 + AC:2003 — Full-face masks
European standard for full-face masks covering field of vision, breathing resistance, leakage and mechanical strength.
EN 137:2006 — Self-contained open-circuit breathing apparatus
European standard for compressed-air SCBA with full-face mask, applied to Hancom Lifecare's CE export SCBA.
Explosion protection
International IECEx scheme and EU ATEX directive for equipment used in potentially explosive atmospheres — required for petrochemical, offshore and industrial sites.
EN 403 — Escape hoods
European standard for filtering escape devices with hood for self-rescue from fire. Also certified to Korean KS M6766.
Korea Fire Institute
Korea's national certification body for firefighting equipment — performance, materials and operational testing for SCBA, helmets, boots and protective clothing.
Cylinder inspection
SCBA composite cylinders are inspected by the Korea Gas Safety Corporation (KGS); carbon cylinders also carry U.S. D.O.T. approval.
EN 14126 — Protection against infective agents
Heat proximity clothing compliant with EN 14126 against biological hazards and infectious agents.
Korean chemical protection standards
SCA 1800ET chemical suits carry KC certification; flame-retardant fabrics meet KOSHA and KFI standards for liquid, gas and flash-fire hazards.
ProQares (TNO), Netherlands
K10 and the K10C / K3C canisters were tested at system level by ProQares, a subsidiary of TNO (Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research), and meet all relevant requirements of NATO Triptych AC/225-D103 (revised) — a proven baseline for modern AEP-73 environments.
